Hospice fundraising: matt and Claire

“Matt, from Leybourne, loved nothing more than being outdoors, on or near the water. He and his wife Claire enjoyed sailing and walking. Matt loved a challenge, fun and spending time surrounded by his wonderful friends. But in September 2013, at the young age of 41, Matt became ill and was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Here his wife Claire tells us about their Hospice journey…”

Filmed with Claire on-location at the Heart of Kent Hospice building, and blending in her imagery alongside parts of the interview, we created a poignant fundraising film about how the Hospice helped during such a difficult time.

The film went on to receive more than 85,000 organic views, and increased HOKH’s fundraising income by being utilised effectively as an acquisition tool at events and with partners.
